When you place an order we collect your name, email address, delivery address and phone number if given. Payment is handled by Shopify and their payment providers. We never see or store your card details. When you use a form on this site we collect the details you enter. When you email us we keep that correspondence.
To take payment, send your order, keep you updated about it, answer your questions and meet our legal and accounting obligations. The lawful basis is performance of a contract for orders, legitimate interests for enquiries, and legal obligation for records we are required to keep.
Shopify, which runs our checkout and stores order data. Webflow, which hosts this site and stores form submissions. Royal Mail, to deliver your order. Google, for our email. We do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
Order records are kept for six years, as UK tax law requires. Enquiries and form submissions are kept for two years unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
Our checkout is provided by Shopify, which sets cookies needed to keep your basket and complete payment. You can control cookies in your browser settings, though disabling them may stop checkout working.
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email hello@digestym.com and we will respond within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
